Salman Khan’s Jai Ho is still the top film of 2014 as far as the Saturday collections are concerned. Ek Villain came close on both Friday and Saturday, but fell just short.
However, the Mohit Suri directed film has comprehensively beaten both Holiday and Humshakals.
Amongst films that managed to collect 10 crore plus on its opening day, only Holiday managed to better its Friday collections on Saturday. All other films dropped, Gunday had the biggest fall.

Bang bang will not do very big business. maybe upto 120 crore not more than that. dhoom 2 had big franchise. agneepath gained lot of attention due to chikni chameli song. many of my friends went said they went only for the song. krrish 3 was sequel. hrithik is not that big crowd puller.

@nipun ka thullu you wont accept the truth but besides krrish, dhoom 2 and agneepath hrithik has no big opening success. even znmd became hit on word of mouth not due to hrithik. Sid looks better than hrithik and will very soon beat him like ranveer and ranbir.

HR is underrated bcoz when all this concept of 100crs came and Aamir n Salman were delivering back to back 100crs,HR had a bad period..he was delivering duds like guzaarish,kites etc.
Thats the time when people overlooked him.
After that HR had only 2 films Agneepath n K3 ,both of which did excellent business…

Dhoom was not a big franchise but it had sequel factor. if any actor even if ritesh deshmukh was in the film even then it would have been a big hit. ritiesh performance in ek villain was perfect and he would have rocked as villain in dhoom 2 and 3. hrithik had style but lacked riteish intensity and expressions.
Aamir lacked height in dhoom 3. riteish would be perfect as he has expressions and height as well.

also Dhoom became a franchise solely because of HR..else why would the whole world compare Aamir Sir with HR and not JA!?
