Ormax Media has released the list of Top 10 stars for the month of August 2012. It’s called ‘Stars India Love’. It’s a clean sweep for Salman Khan across all markets as Ek Tha Tiger has smashed records everywhere. With the success of Rowdy Rathore and Housefull 2, Akshay Kumar takes the No 2 spot, although it remains to be seen if he drops down after the failure of Joker. SRK, Aamir and Hrithik make it to the Top 5.
Coming to the ladies, it’s Katrina Kaif on top. She is the undisputed No 1 female star. She is followed closely by Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been missing from action, but is ahead of Deepika Padukone, who scored a big hit with Cocktail.

UTV have bought the worldwide distribution rights of Joker for 40 crores. Before shooting completed Zee group had bought the satellite rights for 22 crores. To make the film average Joker has to earn 36 crore net. But if it earn 20 crore net,UTV will loss about 8 crores. But local distributors will suffer heavy losses compared to the losses like Raone.
Dear SRK fans, Raone & MNIK are not clean hits. If films are declared hits if only producer makes money,then films like Raavan & Kites are also hits. It was Reliance who bought the distribution rights for whopping prices & suffered all the losses. MNIK was mainly affected by Shivsena protests as maximum territorial share of a Bollywood film comes from Mumbai circuit be it big films like ETT or small films like Vicky Donor or Kahaani. Raone was rejected by people after first week due to lack of contents.

Now they are saying SRK next will be disaster.

Joker doesn’t affect akki fans, i wasn’t looking forward to it, and it won’t hurt akki when he has others in the pipeline. akki can give another flop this year and still won’t affect his position whn he already has two major blockbusters this year, it srk and aamir who have to worry. ajay will come 3rd if SOS performs.
