Box Office India has published a list of Top 10 opening day collections in India and according to them, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has beaten the highest non-holiday collections of Dabangg 2 by about half a crore. The film is only behind holiday releases like Ek Tha Tiger (EID 2012), Agneepath (Republic day 2012) and Bodyguard (EID 2011).

Almost everyone thought that YJHD could beat salman’s dabangg 2. I also thought that it is impossible. But Ranbir’s YJHD makes it impossible to possible.

Why you have not included JTHJ which collected 15.3 crores on 1st day of diwali with less no. of screens
than other films & that too competition from a masala film like SOS. JTHJ has the record of highest opening 1st day collections on DIWALI.
boxoffice india always shows lower collections for every movie then how come in the case of YJHD it has reported the collections more than the official collections.. something fishy here! not a trustworthy site at all.. boxoffice india ki poll khul gayi

Don 2 is action thriller in the line of Ajay devgan Tezz, shud i tell u the fate of tezz and its opening? Sharukh star power got him 15 crs opening for Don2. Shah rukh khan, still is the biggest potential superstar, no one can match him, u know why? bcuz he became superstar bcuz of his charm, ranbir also became superstar for the same reason. But ur akki chakki sallu mallu became superstar coz of masala movies. Hrithik, due to his looks,dance and jealous aamir bcuz of his script selection. got it?
i always doubted at the authenticity of boxoffice india. but today it is proved what a fraud and bogus site this boxoffice india is. it always gives false figures. UTV and dharma productions official figures for YJHD is 19.45 crores but boxoffice india has gone ahead and reported it as 20 crores. today boxoffice india has got exposed. but in a way its good that it has happened because now people have realized what a bogus and fraud site boxoffice india is. we as fans of bollywood deserve correct information. we dont need sites like boxoffice india. RIP boxoffice india. today was an eye opener for all of us fans today. and i have nothing against YJHD and ranbir kapoor. infact i watched the movie today and it was good light hearted entertaining movie. ranbir, deepika and kalki rocked the movie.
