The first week overseas business of KICK is at No 8 in the all time list of highest first week grossers. Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 is way ahead of the competition – first week was more than double of KICK and 40 cr more than Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express.
Dhoom 3 was the first film to collect more than 100 crore in its first week at the overseas box office.
Again, the list is dominated by Shahrukh Khan (5 films in Top 10) and Aamir Khan (3 films). Salman isn’t as popular overseas as he is in India, but the 3 Khans rule overseas too. The Khans are followed by Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, but none of their films are currently in the Top 10.

@Tiger – Even I have said that in my first comment. But, I had a same feeling about Dhoom 3 as it was inspired from The Prestige, but it proved me wrong, granted Dhoom was a big franchise, still I think Bang Bang will do well (better than Krrish 3 for sure), at least more than $10 million lifetime.
Haider will prevent it from breaking any record in India or anywhere else.

If people go gaga over Dhoom-3 then i must say Dhoom & Dhoom-2 were also classics and stylish. I have watched first 2 and dont want to watch the third one coz Amir is a Proud and Cheap character actor. He always trying to degrade other colleagues. Which is very worst act. Specially when he said he has a Dog named Shahrukh. As an Big Actor, as a Human Being and specially as a Muslim (as he offered Hajj) that thing didnot suits him. Loose character act. Also he ignored who already announced Christmas 2014 releases. He Postponed his movie from June to December. That really bad and cheap. Anees & Anurag respects Bollywood, respects Raju & Amir so that they preponed and postponed their movies. Coz they dont want any issue. By the end of the run, Kick will take the third spot…Agreed SRK is the King of the overseas but Aamir still ruling there. SRK has largely benefitted from working with Yashraj and Dharma productions. They make films for NRIs and make strong marketing channels. Besides, he goes to overseas and does many roadside shows and other programs to grab headlines. His PR channels are working in full swing…
Salman is least bothered about that. He is a contended man. He is the King in India.

But the exhibitors do not have faith in the stardom of the sarkar of 3.7 Billions fans worldwide. So, I don’t think it will have that many screen space for a film of a fading star. Besides, hardly will anybody be watching a crap film after the story driven films like Marykom and Haider and a Hollywood level film like Bang Bang. Our King rules overseas without any doubt..i somewhat agree with @sahir…after CE broke 3I records last year,i watched one of his interview with utv stars where he was telling “agar 3I abhi release hui hoti,toh inka record aaram se tod deti,bcoz of high rates and no. of screens”…i know he was right but that shows his concern over this b.o collections…while don’t find these things with Salman,HR,srk,akki…Aamir is too outspoken sometimes…
