Kick has once again shown the huge difference between a ‘superstar arriving on a festive weekend’ and normal release at the Indian box office. Kick has collected almost 2 times more than the second best, which also happens to be a Salman Khan starrer.
Ek Villain, Holiday (which got a favourable release period after the IPL) and Gunday make it to the Top 5.
2 States, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Humshakals did very well in their opening weekends, but the combined first week business of all those three films is still lesser than KICK!

Its the only film I have seen so far which had its dialogue sheet typed in Devanagari script. In fact, Rakeshji had issued strict instructions for the actors to read from Hindi dialogue sheets and for me to write dialogues in Hindi only.
