TOIFA Awards 2013 Winners: Technical Awards

Two of the best movies of 2012 – Barfi and Kahaani – won maximum awards at the inaugural edition of the Times Of India Film Awards (TOIFA 2013) here.

The TOIFA technical awards were hosted by Karan Johar and the beautiful Chitrangada Singh.

Salman Yusuf Khan (Dance India Dance fame) set the stage on fire with his fabulously energetic performance, while a dash of fashion was also added to the event by designer Manish Malhotra, whose special showcase  featuring Bollywood beauties like Neha Dhupia, Sonal Chauhan, Urmila Matondkar, Raveena Tandon and Nargis Fakhri, celebrated 100 years of Indian cinema.

• Best Screenplay – Sujoy Ghosh (Kahaani)
• Best Cinematography – S Ravi Varman (Barfi)
• Best Choreography – Chikni Chameli (Agneepath)
• Best Costume Design - Aki Narula and Shafalina (Barfi)
• Best Art Direction – Rajat Podar (Barfi)
• Best Dialogue - Anurag Kashyap, Akhilesh Jaiswal, Zeishan Quadri and Sachin Ladia (Gangs Of Wasseypur)
• Best Backgorund Score – Pritam (Barfi)
• Best Special Effects – Raaz 3
• Best Sound Recording – Anita Khushwaha (Talaash)
