Veteran filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, who reunites with Salman Khan after directing Hrithik Roshan in ‘Mein Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’ and Shahid Kapoor in ‘Vivaah’, has announced the title of his next.
While there were strong rumours that the Diwali 2014 release will be titled ‘Bade Bhaiyaa’, Barjatya has instead opted to title the film as ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ – a title derived from a popular bhajan, which clearly suggests that the film is a family drama.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will go on floors in the last week of May or first week of June, as soon as Salman is done with the ongoing shooting schedule of KICK. He has given 180 days to the film.
Sonam Kapoor has been cast as the female lead, while Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Deepak Dobriyal and Swara Bhaskar have also been signed to play important roles. The music of the film will be composed by Himesh Reshammiya.

Queen is all in appreciation,it is a superbly made film,it has currently 8.9 on imdb,while gulab gang has been rejected by most.

The funniest of them all was:225crs,had JTHJ released solo…by adding 100crs of SOS in that….lol
If it had to collect 225 solo,it would have collected atleast 180crs…
But the fact is JTHJ was’nt that entertaining like CE,some people also got headaches,so 120crs was sufficient for it as a result.
Its title should have been something like Maya Memsaab, Raju Bangaya Gentleman, Yeh Lamhe Juda Yi Ki, Rab Ne Banadi Jodi, Jab Tak Hai Jaan…
The different thing this movie is the title is different from others and traditonal.
Though I hate sallu for the kinda masala films he make, for this film, I stand by him..

If rumours are true that Salman is doing double role, then the title suggests that two characters are named Prem and Ratan.
The title is totally not in sync with new gen, but no one can ever predict the movie business based on that.
Did anyone feel like a movie named 3 idiots will make history? A movie named Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela will do good business? a movie named Jab Tak Hai Jaan will struggled with a funny named movie like SOS.

Sooraj barjatya is a intelligent director he knows how to blend traditional values and modern culture, he will definitely make a beautiful movie and he is best director for salman because in his each movie with salman put his 100 percent. I don’t know about what will be boxoffice collection like those experts in comment section but it will sure touch the hurt of family audience.
