‘The Shaukeens’ has failed to excite the audience. The film opened to a decent response, but failed to sustain during the weekdays and completely crashed in its second weekend.
Even though ‘The Shaukeens’ didn’t feature Akshay Kumar in the lead, it was expected to perform much better than it has over the last 12 days. The film will finish with lifetime lifetime business of less than 35 crore.

Why people talking about box office figure manipulation when there is a problem in the tracking system..only producer and distributor knows what the movie collected not any site with “some” resources …Kick has lower collection then HNY in 2nd and 3rd week in multiplexes still scores high..HNY has a 40 cr day 1 and suddenly less then 30 cr next 2 days in BOI when it was sat and sunday which is impossible for a film running full houses…even for the first day..how a movie can collect exact 40 cr as BOI said…it should be 39.1 or 41.5 or 44.5 like all other sites said..how it was exact 40 cr in BOI?? so please stop this manipulation drama and except whats common for most of the sites…thanks

@gautam raj bhagambhag released during Christmas and garam masala, Shadi no1 and kyuki all released on Diwali 2005. And it was surprised that some circuit shows better collection than kyuki leave alone garam masala which was running mile ahead of both.
Kyuki trailer received huge response when it released and Bhai already riding high on success of no entry, MPKK etc but later garam masala released and took all the sheen of Bhai’s movie. Akki-john and songs create big waves. I m sure if released solo might turn biggest grosser of that year. It was was the third movie after sarkar and mangal pandey which crossed 3 cr mark In Mumbai city. These are two where Akkis golden run started and Bhai’s down fall till dabang. I think salman and akshay has same core fan base

Heroes wasn’t a festive release..it released a week before Diwali 2008..
Also you missed Asoka which released on Diwali 2001 and clashed with Sunny Deol’s Indian..
