The first release of 2015, Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, is also the first failure of the year. The film was rejected both at multiplexes in cities as well as mass-centres.
The opening was poor, but Tevar did show decent growth in business on Sunday. However, the total net collections in Week 1 was Rs 34.25 crore, which was extremely poor considering the amount that Eros International paid for the theatrical rights.

Anupama chopra wannabie, tevar is also better than rohit3 but unfortunately boney kapur does not hav the famous k3 calculator to count tevar’s collections. Otherwise it would have collected more than 100cr(40cr + 60cr).
I don’t understand why such movies are made or these directors are given a chance! I have also watched a small budget zayed khan film called sharafat gaye tel lene and it was really money well spent as I enjoyed most of it. It gets a 3/5 while tevar gets 1/5
Tevar is better than that craps bong bong or bing bing, krish 2 and 3 and dhoom 2.

Who think that, only on the basis of itom songs, action scene etc. movie will be hit tevar is a perfect example after Aj for those. Arjun kapoor also done 2 states movie nd it was 100 caror club movie not on base of masala while on the basis of its content nd arjun was very goon in this film. So these good actor should undrstand tht they should do content base movies nt masala movies.

Tever is good movie
The film of tevar was remade in south film industry Telugu and Tamil.In Telugu superstar magesh babu acted the film called okadu and in Tamil illaya thalapathy Vijay acted the film called gilli .The film which is turning point of both heroes in film carrier . Mistake is not arjun kapoor side the mistake is director of the film.
