Two keenly-awaited trailers were released this week – Anand L Rai’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.
Both trailers have crossed 1.5 million views on Youtube, but the ratio of likes vs dislikes is significantly better for the trailer ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’.
Dil Dhadakne Do – 2 million views – 11,226 likes – 1284 dislikes.
Tanu Weds Manu Returns – 1.5 million views – 7,763 likes – 194 dislikes.

We weren’t too impressed with the Twitter-hyped trailer of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. It looks like a film that deals with conflicts of high-society people, something that wouldn’t appeal to people outside metro cities. It should have been way shorter than 3 minutes too. However, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara too had a similar trailer with random scenes from the film.
Since a lot of people were asking for our rating for the ‘DDD’ trailer, we’d give it 2.5 stars.

1st of all tanu weds manu(twk) released during when I was in my 2nd year of engineering.so it reminds me of my college days,I liked the film.
But now they are making sequel.but my point is when they made good ending of two,no need to do the sequel.they are forcibly trying to change the story which is simply once again to get the the fame again.but it couldn’t impress me to that extent,that I expected.DDD is so far one of the good trailer.
Why twk returns overshadowed DDD,the reason behind is Indians who is always searched for ‘entertainment’.

@Ajinkya Farhan is a crap. Are you serious. Go watch LBC, ZNMD, BMB. Farhan is an outstanding talent. He is not like 60 crore Joker, entertainment, tees maar khan Makkhi Kumar. Farhan is a singer, actor, director, dialogue writer, Producer and what not. whta makkhi kumar does is 4 ghatiya film a year and 1 film with Murgadoss and Neeraj to save him. Baby super wom 84 crore. BMB lesser screen 105 crore. See the difference.

N m not saying BV trailer was great. But it’s not that bad either as you people are bashing it.
BTW, I shouldn’t give any Damnn about a person who feels all the films related to RK,RS,Varun etc like Barfi,Rockstar, Ramleela, Badlapur are overrated/bad and Farhan is a “ghatiya” star!

Tanu weds manu returns trailer is total bakwassss….it is not at all appealing….while ddd trailer gives an awesome feeling.
Both were superb trailers for their genre.. TWM2 will be a fun film..
