Talaash has collected Rs 66.8 crore nett in it’s first week at box office. While the film showed good growth in it’s first weekend (Saturday and Sunday), collections dropped quite significantly over the weekdays. The Monday to Thursday drop was almost 50%.

- Friday – 13.36 crore
- Saturday – 15.17 crore (13% growth)
- Sunday – 17.98 crore (18% growth)
- First Weekend – 46.51 crore
- Monday – 6.52 crore (63% drop)
- Tuesday – 5.6 crore (14% drop)
- Wednesday – 4.5 crore (20% drop)
- Thursday – 3.7 crore (18% drop)
- First Week Total Collections – 66.83 (7 days)
It’s a good first week for Talaash, but the heavy drop on weekdays is quite alarming. The lifetime business will be around 90 crore nett.

@ raj …jthj released on 2500 screens & it did 83 crores in its 10 week…& just 17 crores in 2nd week….i mean romantic films can definitely do more…like cocktail released on just 1600 screens & had competition from bol bachhan & also mixed to negative reviews still it did 78 crores…& srk’s romantic does 103..just 25 more…!i mean that good romantic films must atleast do 150 crores…
also cocktail released on non holiday weekend…but still did 78 crores…just replace cocktail screens with 2500 screens….u’ll get that it would have atleast done 120 crores…with saif….

Tejas is honest man and he just said Krrish 3 max only 160cr because he knew Krrish 3 will be lack of Mass appeal.
Stupid are talking about Krrish 3 will be 250cr in India.LOL they dont have KNOWLEDGE.
Krrish 3 is in big DANGER than all films in 2013 because its high budget(probably 130+cr budget).
I feel other big film also will release on diwali 2013 except SRK films because SRK-Hrithik are good friends and Krrish 3 VFX is Red Chilies VFX.
So I dont think Krrish 3 will get SOLO release on Diwali.
Dhoom 3 also wont get Solo release except Sallu films as Sallu-Aamir are good friends.

SRK films especially JTHJ get 80% Class and Under 10% mass(yes most single screens are waste).
Bodyguard or ETT-50-60% Class while 100% mass.
RR-Under 30% Class as its Akki film and maybe 90% mass.
Why are you comparing to Previous SRK films to Chennai Express because you’re saying Chennai Express will tough competition to Ready.

2) kick:- salman & mas genre!!
3) krrish 3..:- hrithik film in superhero avtaar…also i feel rakesh roshan will offer us something special!!
4)chennai express:-reason ce is at 4th spot are:-
1)releasing two weeks before radhe
2)non holiday release
3)srk position is currently down….(just like salman did wanted but it didn’t cross 100 crore despite being an awesome film!)
