Talaash has collected Rs 66.8 crore nett in it’s first week at box office. While the film showed good growth in it’s first weekend (Saturday and Sunday), collections dropped quite significantly over the weekdays. The Monday to Thursday drop was almost 50%.

- Friday – 13.36 crore
- Saturday – 15.17 crore (13% growth)
- Sunday – 17.98 crore (18% growth)
- First Weekend – 46.51 crore
- Monday – 6.52 crore (63% drop)
- Tuesday – 5.6 crore (14% drop)
- Wednesday – 4.5 crore (20% drop)
- Thursday – 3.7 crore (18% drop)
- First Week Total Collections – 66.83 (7 days)
It’s a good first week for Talaash, but the heavy drop on weekdays is quite alarming. The lifetime business will be around 90 crore nett.

i dont know what happens to the film .the downfall is so huge and now in week 2 it will be totally affected by k786 .
if k786 releases on same day of talaash it cant earn 50 cr.
so its good enough collection for any movie but not as biggest star like aamir he is second after salman in india and finished week 1 in 60’s its really worthless .better luck this time but bless for dhoom 3 .

Let Me Explain Talaash is’nt a Well Made Movie…infact Kahani Was the first Full Fledged Suspense Thriller Which Bollywood Has Made In Recent Times…But Talaash Is Very Lower Compared To Kahani..
Infact Kahani Collected healthy 56crs At Indian Boxoffice With No Song And Dance film with No Male Superstar…
But Here In Talaash all the Lead Pairs are Superstars In Their Own Fields..

Brafi also was’nt having audience b4 its release……the lead pairs were DUMB and DEAF so there was no chance at the boxoffice….but still went on to collect huge 110crs+ while talaash is struggiling with 2500screens compared to junior 1300screens ranbir
Now see, A Himesh reshmiya scripted film is going to collect more than so called perfectionist Aamir’s The LAASH.

talaash is a wonderful film and it is carrying good wom but limited audience…class movies like jthj don2 talaash cnt do more than 110 cr+ i think anything above 90cr will b super succes 4 talaash
@tejas buddy i expected at-least 120+ crores for talaash but it looks almost improbable now. well dhoom 3 will be anything but a sensational ATBB but i have my own reservations about the chances of k3 breaking the 250+ crore barrier in india as i feel it is unnecessarily being over hyped for whatever reasons like RA.1(THE WORST CRAP SH-IT EVER MADE), but i will surely be a 175+crore BB.

JTHJ is 1st PURE Romantic film to cross 100cr nett at India.
I knew JTHJ wont collect as Huge as Sallu films before its release.
JTHJ is truly deserved 120cr or 103cr by boi.
Talaash is truly deserved Max 90cr as Its limited appeal.
