Talaash has collected Rs 14.52 on it’s opening day at the domestic box office. The morning shows were around 60-70% at multiplexes, but the film showed huge growth for the evening and night shows.
In the cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Lucknow, Noida, Mangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai.. and other major cities, the film was running to near 100% capacity for the evening and night shows.
The word-of-mouth is mixed, but Talaash is likely to show good growth over the weekend. We expect Saturday to be around 15-16 cr, as the morning shows at key centres today have slightly better occupancy than yesterday. Sunday will be huge. It remains to be seen if Talaash can cross the 20 crore mark.

Absolutely dissappointed !! Had sky high expectations from Aamir Khan. Entered the theatre with so much of excitement, enthusiasm and was looking forward to remain stunned, thrilled and surprised towards the ending. Sadly it didn’t live up to expectations at all :(

if talaash has negative word of mouth then it shouldn’t show growth in Saturday but I Am sure that it will show growth in range of 20 percent .so those who are spreading negative moves better shut your mouth.it doesn’t happen with bad word of mouth movie.if you have some sense to understand the fact.

Talaash is topping off around 15 crores. fri & Sat. I dont see it ever crossing 20 crores. It has been rejected by masses completely.
Final BO total will be btw 80-85 crores. It could be less depending on how Khiladi786 will do which is sure to eat into Talaash’s business now.

I challange Aamir khan to cross 100 crores with this movie!!. Now he will know how perfectionist he is!!!. The story of 3 Idiots is of master class so that movie would have earned money even if aamir is not in that movie. And by the way, give some credit to Madhavan and other actors who acted very well.
Nobody can act like SRK !!!. He has created the fame for bollywood througout the world!!. Aamir khan got noticed only from Lagaan movie when his movie was selected as oscar entry from India.

And what was Salman khan fans doing before wanted movie???. Only 10-15people were sitting in the morning show of 1st day for Yuvvraaj movie of Salman khan!!!! where were those fans of salman khan??? His movies – Jaaneman, Marie gold, God tussi great ho, Hello, Main aur mrs khanna, Veer, London dreams, Salaam-e-ishq, Baabul, Maine pyaar kyun kiya, Kyun ki etc were utter flops.

forget 150 crores, It will struggle to get to 80 crores. Talaash has been rejected. also, TZP did not had major release like Khiladi786 within 7 days of its release. Talaash does.
If Talaash doesn’t cross 50 crores by Sunday night, its finished. It will never go beyond 85 crores lifetime BO collection. Khiladi786 will stifle that.
so stop dreaming about 150 crores. not hapening.

Boi is not reliable site. Its fact and figures changes with time. If you see all the overseas collections are taken from taran adarsh. I have not seen any film person mentioning collection from boi . Industry media everyone uses taran adarsh figures. It is not like box office mojo whose every single details are accurate and precise right from word go.
