The teaser of Salman Khan’s Sultan has crossed 3 million views and 50,000 likes in 24 hours after it was first released on Youtube. Additionally, the teaser has also received about half a million views on Yash Raj Films’ official Facebook face, where it currently has 541,879 views.
The trailer of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had also achieved 3 million views in 24 hours, but the likes were lower at 44,270 likes against 4,837 dislikes. The Sultan teaser has 50,741 likes against 4,598 dislikes.
Meanwhile, the top stars in the industry have also praised the teaser.

They all released on Eid and went on to be huge grossers of respective years.
Yes, post 2009, Eid was mostly belonged to Bhabhijan because she released all her movies on Eid. So it’s not like bhabhijan made any difference to Eid. In fact, if you see, post 2009, all those movies which released on Eid, were highly successful (including Chennai Express).
So instead of bragging about your bhabhijan, just accept that it’s Eid which saved the career of non-actress.

One honest & sensible advise to Srk fans :
If you concentrate more on Sultan & Raees you are going to lose out for FAN. This is the time to worry about FAN as advance booking & buzz looks pale and Jungle Book set to harm FAN on Box Office instead of thinking about Raees and spreading negativity about Sultan. If FAN does well who knows Raees may release on Eid, so concentrate on FAN and stop worrying about Eid. If I was a Srk Fan I would have done the same, its like worrying more about Final match ignoring Semi Final which is a passage to reach Final. Cross the current hurdle first and then think about next one later.
All the best for FAN !!!!!!
PS : I personally want Fan to do well n Raees to clash with Sultan on Eid. That will be a bigger lesson for Srk & his fans rather backing out !!!!!!!!!

K3G & Veer Zara had Diwali advantage too, there was nothing called Eid release during those years. Only Don & Jaaneman was After Eid release n the hype was more about clash than Eid release significances.
