Director Ali Abbas Zafar has announced that the shooting schedule of his keenly-awaited film ‘Sultan’, will be wrapped up next month.
The schedule of Sultan was supposed to stretch for around 3 and a half months, out of which 75 days of shoot has been completed.
“75 days of shoot over @SultanTheMovie, last 30 days left… Feels like just started shooting. Time flies,” Zafar posted on Twitter.

The film now enters its final schedule, after which the post production work will begin. In other words, Sultan will be ready in time for Eid this year.
Starring Salman Khan as Sultan Ali Khan, Sultan will be been produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films. The film is scheduled to clash against ‘Raees’ in the first week of July this year.
Srk still you have time postponed your movie otherwise SULTAN will crush rice smuggler….

@Hamid Ali, bro it’s true that Srk is shooting for Raees from last year, but he was shooting 3 movies together (Dilwale, fan and Raees) and even now this year he starts shooting Gauri Shinde movie with Raees shooting. So basically he is shooting 4 films in a period of 1 year that’s why his Raees shooting is still not complete. While Salman Bhai shoots 1 film at a time and he is shooting SULTAN continuously from last 3 months. And 4 months is enough time to complete any movie.

Neither it was a superhit. It wasn’t a blockbuster either. But it was ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER. Got it? Also it was a solo movie. What was haklu’s debut? It was a multistarrer with haklu in supporting role and still it was only a hit. Salman has maximum blockbusters in the history of Indian cinama and maximum highest foot falls of 2 separate decades. HAHK had highest foot falls of 1990s and bajrangi bhaijaan has highest foot falls of 2010s decade. Salman is megastar right since the beginning of his career without the backing of big banners like yrf, dharma and any big popular actress like kajol. Aukaat hai nahi to mat bola kar. Srk is made big by yrf, dharma, kajol, madhuri, rani, deepika, etc. Salman doesnt need all that. Also he is the only megastar who had given most number of blockbusters with unknown directors of flop directors as well as flop heroines. Who knows about bhagyashree, sonakshi, jacquiline, sonam, asin? But Salman with all those unknown actresses gave blockbusters. While teesra khan’s all blockbusters had big heroines like kajol, madhuri, deepika, anushka, etc. Sultan will beat rice bowl beggar by big margin and end teesra khan’s honeymoon.
@Tiger–The roles SRK did with YRF and Dharma required a powerful actor. Then why would YRF and Dharma waste those beautiful scripts with a talentless non-actor whose acting chops are limited to shaking belts and pockets? And not to mention both Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar were literally kid directors back then. SRK proved himself the best of romantic genre by working with them. Imagine any other actor who could create the same magic in the roles SRK did? Also could you imagine Salman pulling off a Chak De! India which was just not a romantic movie? Salman only succeeded in doing roles that catered to his macho man image and no acting calibre. And why only bring that one 1994 film while he had also been creating history with back to back flops while SRK was ruling all the way in the 90’s and 2000’s?
