Sultan shoot to wrapped up by next month

Director Ali Abbas Zafar has announced that the shooting schedule of his keenly-awaited film ‘Sultan’, will be wrapped up next month.

The schedule of Sultan was supposed to stretch for around 3 and a half months, out of which 75 days of shoot has been completed.

“75 days of shoot over @SultanTheMovie, last 30 days left… Feels like just started shooting. Time flies,” Zafar posted on Twitter.

The film now enters its final schedule, after which the post production work will begin. In other words, Sultan will be ready in time for Eid this year.

Starring Salman Khan as Sultan Ali Khan, Sultan will be been produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films. The film is scheduled to clash against ‘Raees’ in the first week of July this year.

  • I didnt get it. I mean the shoot was still half way through and only about 50% were still left and anushka also joined the shoot 2 months ago. Then I dont really get it that how the shoot is to be wrapped up by next month? I hope the movie is good because completing shoot in just 3 months would affect the quality and I wanted sultan to be s grand film like Bajrangi bhaijaan. But anyways hope for the best and lets see what’s in store!!!

  • So this shows #$ULTAN has some great storyline, that’s why shooting is in full swing and mostly shoot takes place in Mumbai/Haryana!!!! Now after shoot, Post-production work will start so we can expect #$ULTAN to released on EID!!!! And as Coward Khan already said that he didn’t have guts to face #$ULTAN in a clash and he added if #$ULTAN is ready for EID then he will shift his BHIKHARI RICE SELLER!!!! Let’s see how much daring Minnow Bhabhi show against #$ULTAN ALI KHAN(naam me hi baat hai!)

  • Some morons are predicting raees will beat sultan. Lol. I am laughing at their stupidity. What is raees? It’s nothing but a boring crime movie with bunch of over acting and its not even commercial film. Forget beating sultan, it will find hard to stand in front of sultan. Sultan has way bigger buzz than this crap rice bowl. Mark my words. Sultan will beat raees by big margin. Even with crap story, crap director sultan will take much bigger opening and life time will be miles ahead of rice. Rice with so called great script and so called great director will struggle to be a hit. Haklu is nothing but a teesra khan. Rice wont even cross 100 Cr life time.

  • Excellent work @Being Ashu, we expect such work from Indicine but I think as @The Beast said Indicine hesitate to publish an article on this b/c their so called favorite star Srk is in 14th position….
    What a shame to all Srk fans that even Kapil Sharma have much more followers than Srk…..

    SULTAN shooting won’t finish until next 2 months. No time for post-production.

    Had SULTAN wraps up in 30 days, they would’ve released the trailer with FAN instead of teaser.
