It’s been 11 months since his last release and 40 months since his last box office success, but inspite of all his recent failures, the biggest directors in the industry are queueing up to sign Ranbir Kapoor for their films. There can only be two reasons, his acting talent and the love that he gets from his fans.
Not too long ago, Ranbir was one of the most promising actors in the industry and the closest that any young star had got to attaining ‘superstar’ status.
He was one of those few actors who could pull a film to the 20 crore mark – a opening day figure that separates the elite superstars from the rest.
Unfortunately, the graph of Ranbir’s career has taken a downward turn as Besharam, Roy, Bombay Velvet and Tamasha have all failed. His poor run has also affected the eagerness of the audience to watch his films on the first day and this shows in the box office opening of his films.

Like most stars who are going through a lean phase, Ranbir too needs that ’one big film’ to get his career back on track. And who better than Karan Johar to helm his all-important film?
Karan has a terrific track record as director. While none of his films have failed at the box office, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be an important film for the ‘My Name Is Khan’ director too, as he returns with his 6th directorial.

The stats make it obvious that after ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghan’, Karan Johar films haven’t really performed upto expectations at the domestic box office. ‘Student Of The Year’ surprised, but a big hit in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ will help reaffirm Karan’s status as one of the top directors in the industry.
Adhm is a Ranbir starrer & srk has few minutes guest appearance it’s enough to know the standard of the movie. Shivay all the way Ajay will thrash both hakla & kakla.
Kjo films are full of unnecessary melodrama & too much glamour kkhh included. . I don’t think that’s gonna change this time too. Another mediocre movie which is already unnecessarily hyped & will be praised by his friendly critics. Ranbir best of luck.
This will be another CLASSIC from KJO SIR.HE surprise US Everytime.must have to say an immense talent in the industry.but some koyla looking over actor and some 2009 born non actor are habituated of watching some sadakchap action movies so they’re saying these word cheap from cons.

KANK and SOTY are not clean hits. They are semi-hits. Dont know why bollywood sites keep hyping KJo. He owes his career to SRK and terrific music. As a director he tells the same mundane absurd love stories. Only My Name is Khan is an exception.
Hoping ADHM doesnt tank coz Ranbir deserves better than this.
Fresh love story! N need at least 75 crores to acheiv hit status….becoz this movie already recover 50cr by sold movie rights out of 85 cr which is movie budget..shivaay budget is 125 crores so it is dificlt to acheiv hit status for shivaay….adhm is clear winner !!
