3 Idiots and Paa have swept the Star Screen Awards 2009 – 2010. 3 Idiots won theBest film award, Best Director (Rajkumar Hirani), Best Actor Negative (Boman Irani), Best Actor in a comic role (Omi Vaidya) along with several others for Best Story and Screenplay. i agree with most reviews here it shud be called ready for sale awards. i thought if amitabh is best actor they shud have given rekha best actress. how can it be vidya balan. if u wanna give her award create a new one like they always do best behenji award with statue of mayawati. its high time amitabh shud show maturity and stop buying awards like kids. is shahid, ranbir aamir ,salman not there. amitabh can always get awards in senior category best actor male for next 10 years provided abhishek and aish is always there with few item numbers. while main awards were fake for sure but performances on stage were really great.perhaps thats y these awards lose thier shine so quickly as they r not at all genuine. i loved best jodi award for sharukh and kajol though i thought if it cud be most beautiful jodi of all times it has to be salman and aish. wud be fun on stage than isnt it. its nice to see we all have similar views and this was nice platorm for sharing with all of u guys. take care.

No doubt that aamir performance was extraordinary in 3 idiots, but it’s also true … that amitji did justice with the role which was required in the script of the movie ………… specially that paa dialogue …..
So you cann’t blame them, they performed their best …. n both the good enough to entertain us ….. but at last it depands upon the jury too pick the winner n they pick the legend who deserve this awards,,,
but i am really dissappointed with d fact the DEV D …… doesn’t got ne awards

i am not agree for the best star screen award goes to amitabh Bachchan
well m surprised with the results.. vidhya balan for best actress.. whats wrong with the judges? Aamir gave such a big hit and he is no where. is this all about awards? im not pleased with the results. At least have sum fear that if u will not give awards to deserving peoples then it will be a shame. im expecting similar results next year…
I think the awards were brilliant, but for me the best movie of 2009 was new york, after new york paa & 3 idiots were brilliant movies.
the best direction without any doubt paa & 3 idiots.
the best actor amitabh bachan from paa, & best actres deepika pudakone from love aajkal.
the best story award for me was full of confusion, i am confused with 3 & they were new york, 3 idiots & wake up sid.
the best actor in supporting role without any doubt sharman joshi from 3 idiots & best supporting actress vidya balan from paa.( i have point of view that vidya balan was supporting actress of paa), the lead role was played by big b.
the best comedian sanjay mishra from all the best.
the best negative role performer is prakash raj from wanted.
the best male singer rahat fateh ali khan from aaj din charriya of love aajkal and best female singer is shilpa rao from ittifaq se of paa.
the best music of film was none than other ajab prem ki ghazab kajani, and the best lyrics is of aaj din charriya from love aajkal & tu jaane na from ajab prem ki ghazab kahani.
the best action was from movie wanted & best dance was love me love me from wanted.
the best camera work was from new york & wanted.
the best make up was from paa, the get up of amitabh bachan.
the best dialogue was i want new york best bread from new york, the best scene was shred according to me which are following: 1- john and katrina got shots from fbi in new york & when amitabh was in hospital and abishek & vidya balan met with each other then aarao said pichli se pichle ghalti.
I am very happy that my favourate movies of 2009 were nominated in the best movie & direction category.
Movies like paa, 3 idiots, new york, love aajkal, wanted, ajab prem ki ghazab kahani were nominated in most category. But i think there were some movies who were no nomianted in the category of best movie, best direction & best story like vaada raha, rocket singh, dehli 6, dev d etc.
I believe that Vidya Balan doesn’t deserve the best actress award….she dint do much in the movie…However the most deserving actress 4 this award is Rani Mukherji for “DIL BOLE HADIPPA”…she did an outstanding performance. wat say people???

I am not Indian, but I think the award for srkajol as jodi No. 1 is definitely right, they deserve it , I have seen their scenses more than 100 times and i will continue, so playing only 1 movie in decade can’t be a good reason. they are the best jodi in the world, even better than hollywood jodis.
