We all know Shahrukh Khan has signed Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express. In the last few weeks though, there have been plenty of rumors about the film’s leading lady.
Deepika Padukone and Asin were said to have been cast, but Rohit Shetty denied the rumors saying he is yet to discuss the film with anyone.
That was last month. Now, reliable sources say, since Rohit is comfortable working with Kareena Kapoor, he’s keen on casting her opposite SRK.
Currently though, all of them are held up with different films. Rohit Shetty is busy with Bol Bachchan, SRK is involved with his IPL cricket team and Kareena is shooting for Heroine. Soon after the IPL, SRK will resume shooting for his film with Yash Chopra.
In August, the three are expected to sit together, discuss and see if things work out. Stay tuned for all the updates on Chennai Express right here on Indicine.
