Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has received the ‘BrandLaureate Legendary Award’, which has previously been awarded to iconic personalities like South African president Nelson Mandela, Indian business tycoon Ratan Tata, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and F1 racer Michael Schumacher.
SRK received the award for his outstanding contribution to the Hindi film industry, and for being India’s foremost brand ambassador in Malaysia.
“It is an honour to be given the BrandLaureate Legendary Award. It is always a pleasure to be amongst friends and to be given so much love and motivation to do better” Shahrukh said.
The actor was in Malaysia to attend the birthday party of Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohammad.
SRK was honoured by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation, and received the award from Robert Loh, founder of Lord’s Tailor, KK Johan, president, The BrandLaureate, and Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohammad.

When I see SRK getting awards, I feel proud and feel very happy as if I got those awards. SRK is the only actor who is ruling bollywood since 90’s. We have never heard the word “Comback movie for SRK’. Because he is giving consistent hits!!!Hardly you remember any flop movie. But every other actor have gone through bad phases even Amitabh bachan-you can count his flop movies list just like that. The same with Salman khan – his flop movie list goes so huge that he feel ashamed as an actor. I remember the movie – Marie gold where only 5 people in the entire theater on the first day first show ..this is Salman khan’s actual value. Award is an achievement!!. If Salman or aamir does not get those awards, then something is lacking in them…thats the fact and they should accept it. An engineering student cannot say I know everything, am perfectionist but he fails in all subjects and then criticize the university about the question paper. This is so childish..this is hapening with salman and aamir khan.

I dont how to use my words for the person who hate the citizen(shah rukh khan) of his country who is making them to feel proud for being indian and make india to be known globally from his acting n social works.
