Starring stand-up comedian Vir Das who has impressed in films like Delhi Belly and Go Goa Gone, Sooper Se Ooper is based on an Indian superstition ‘that making a will is an indication that your death is near’.
The story of the film is about a man whose fortune has dwindled and selling his ancestral property may just be the way out of the situation. Before selling the land though, he realises that the ancestral property has not been ‘will-ed’ to him by his late parents.
Directed by Shekhar Ghosh, Sooper Se Ooper has been filmed in Mumbai and Rajasthan. The film promises to be entertaining – a journey from village to the city and vice versa.
