For a film that was expected to cross 200 crores after a record-breaking opening day of Rs 32 crore, Singham Returns could finish below the 150 crore mark. The film has witnessed significant drops in business on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Ajay Devgn starrer has collected Rs 107.12 crore in 6 days, about a crore short of the actor’s highest career grosser Golmaal 3. The drop on Monday was 40% from Sunday, Tuesday was 44% from Monday and on Wednesday the film further fell by 22%.
Singham Returns will collect around 112.5 cr in its first week at the domestic box office.

while I see its 1st day collection I thought it will surely enter in 200cr club but after weekend I suggest it will struggling like ETT which almost reach 200cr just 0.4 cr short.. but now I said it will end its lifetime collection 140-145..

@Anand_TheOrigal, we stick to what we said about Arjun Kapoor in the ranking article. His acting skills and screen presence pale in comparison to Ranveer or Varun. Ranbir is in a different league altogether.

Star can only give the opening, so if movies drop on weekday, for that star is not the responsible, its director. Chennai Express was entertaining, so its worked, Singham returns is not as strong script as Chennai. This simply shows that this time Ajay gave him big opening, but the director could not justify the movie if it drops on week day. Remember Jai ho, Salman gave the opening, but movie cant reach to big number. Yes its easy to blame the Superstar Like Ajay who actually dragged this movie alone on his shoulder. I don’t find him less than any Khan after giving such a big opening, even Salman even after one year could not open Jai Ho on 4000 screen..remember

I couldn’t watch the whole movie till the end. I think entertainment was way better than this
