Akshay Kumar is ready with his fourth release of the year and the good news is, the advance booking of Singh Is Bling, which opened counters at the box office earlier this week, has received a fantastic response.
The advance falls in the ‘outstanding’ category in circuits like East Punjab and Delhi/UP. Even at multiplexes in these circuits, tickets have been priced higher than normal movies, but the pace of ticket sales is better than all Akshay films that have released this year.
In other Akshay Kumar strongholds like Rajasthan, Central India and even Bihar, the advance booking is good.
In Mumbai, the biggest circuit for film business in India, the advance booking is average. In south circuits like Mysore, Tamilnadu/Kerala, the response has been below average to poor.
Singh Is Bling is on course for a very good opening on Gandhi Jayanti holiday. The film is certain to be the biggest opener for Akshay Kumar, but it remains to be seen if it can surpass the ‘Independence Day’ holiday business of Brothers, which collected Rs 21.43 crore on Day 2.
In the last couple of years, big films like Bang Bang and Besharam have opened very well at the box office. Bang Bang was excellent even though it released with Haider.
For Singh Is Bling, a good opening in North India is pretty much guaranteed, but it remains to be seen how the film opens at multiplexes in Mumbai circuit and the rest of India.

Surprisingly SIB is set to take big opening tomorrow, 20cr is looking all set, so Akki least interesting movie took biggest opening this year for him. Great. i dont think it will surpass RR but chances of it being akshays second highest grosser is maximum…last year sib was the weakest contender of all ak movie’s in 2015…but now i think it will be his biggest grosser
songs are not good as Singh is king songs. so maybe it will be again average grosser.. but i wish it should be big hit for akshay kumar …

Wow this is a great news for Akshay fans . I don’t remember the last time an Akki movie got a fantastic advance booking . I am happy if SIB does something brilliant . With SIB Akki has a great chance to do 20 CR on Day 1 . Tomorrow is Gandhi Jayanti which is a national holiday, Comedy is a favourable genre, it is getting good number of screens, it has almost no solid competition and it has 2 weeks before PKP 2 and 3 weeks before Shaandaar . I will be really happy if SIB does more than 20 CR on Day 1 . If SIB does well it will give a huge boost to Airlift which will be his first movie in 2016 . I hope the movie is good and entertaining . The music has also been appreciated by audience . Let’s wait for tomorrow . Fingers Crossed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know why this movie get this much buzz. Sorry for saying that but its true sib’s album is worst of this year but some how it become hit. Trailor is pathetic. The movie looks same old repated story. Nothing is new.
