Siddharth, Varun, Tiger, Ramcharan: set for Bollywood debut

‘Ishaqzaade’ (Arjun Kapoor) and ‘Vicky Donor’ (Ayushmann Khurana) are superhits and (thankfully) Bollywood is sitting on a pile of new talent, what with Ranveer Singh making waves and turning out to be one of the most promising newcomers around. With the trio lending good hopes to the industry –  Bollywood is now looking forward to newer faces that would (hopefully) solve the dependency that filmmakers currently have on barely 10-12 saleable star-actors.

Here is presenting the other faces who should pave a new wave and justify the tagging of Generation X.

Siddharth Malhotra

Siddharth Malhotra (Student of The Year)

No one really knows how Siddharth paved his way into the Karan Johar camp. However just the First Look of the film’s poster has pretty much indicated that if there ever would be a requirement for a chocolate boy hero, Siddharth would be just round the corner to fit the bill.

Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan (Student of the Year)

It was a given that Varun would find himself in front of the camera one day. Unlike his brother (Rohit Dhawan) and father (David Dhawan) who let their creative juices flow through calling the shots behind the camera, Varun is using his good looks to an advantage. There won’t be any surprises when the results are out because KJo is expected to have done his best with the newcomer breed here.

Tiger Shroff

Tiger Shroff (yet untitled film with Sajid Nadiadwala and Saabir Khan)

Unusual, yet effective – That could just be an apt way to describe whatever little one has seen of Tiger so far. An athlete who is quite proficient when it comes to martial arts, Tiger’s launch in the Nadiadwala production is already being talked about. He is carrying forward the pedigree of Jackie Shroff and second time director Saabir Khan is said to have planned something remarkably striking for his launch.

Ram Charan Teja

Ramcharan Teja (Zanjeer)

Ramcharan is coming with a baggage of expectations and that too for reasons more than just one. First and foremost he is one of the rare newcomers to be launched in a remake of an iconic film. If that wasn’t enough, he is a South Indian getting a full fledged Bollywood platform. Last but not the least, he is already established down South and is busy creating records there. Anything less in Hindi would be sacrilege.
