Big announcement, probably the biggest of the year so far! Hrithik Roshan has signed Karan Malhotra’s second film titled Shuddhi.
Karan Johar made the announcement on Twitter “Team Agneepath is back… Karan Malhotra will direct his next with Hrithik Roshan in a 2014 diwali release titled SHUDDHI (purification)”

Malhotra last directed Hrithik in one of 2012’s biggest hits Agneepath. Their new venture Shuddhi will see Hrithik enacting a very complex character. Apart from the lead protagonist, the film will also have a strong villainous character (much like Agneepath). The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.
The Shuddhi shooting begins in November 2013, soon after the release of Krrish 3. The makers are targeting a Diwali 2014 release.
Karan also spoke about the film to Times Of India.
It’s a large-scale love story, a genre I love. I had a wonderful experience. Karan has a fantastic vision, a combination of aesthetic and commercial sense. Hrithik is a close friend and an outstanding actor. So, it’s great that the three of us are teaming up again. Diwali is also synonymous with films that entertain the entire family. Shuddhi is a love story that gives you everything that you look for in a festive release. I hope that we live up to the expectations that Agneepath has generated.

@velocity,ajay ajay devgn has four 100 cr film and fifth coming himattwala. Rohit shetty has 3 film in 100 cr film and 200cr film chennai express coming. Sundhi and singham2 never clash as sundhi is in scripiting stage and singhm2 is pre porduction stage. Kjo never mistake by clashing with rohit shetty film because he knows rohit shetty is the no1 director in this decade. Don’t compare with hritic and ajay beacuse every one know ajay devgn success ratio is better than hritic who won two national award and of course its a dream of hritic.

@sekhar suman it doesn’t matter what you think hrithik has achieved more in his 13 years that Ajay can only dream.
When you talk about national award you forget that Hrithik has won international award, his only the actor to achieve that honour after Raj kapoor.
He has won more then 100 award as an actor a the sametime only took him 5-6 years to get wax statue that ajay will never have.
Hrithik only does 1-2 films per year with different types of genres and still maitains top3 position not like ajay or other actors who are mostly depended on masala films to prolong/save their career.

and he is a very cheap actor and says sos crossed 100 cr lol..he has only two 100 cr,one is golmaal3 and other is bolbachan which took 5 or 6 weeks to touch that 100 cr lol..
