In a concept that was quite similar to the ‘human chain’ that Salman Khan promoted in Jai Ho, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the people of India to invite or inform atleast 9 people to clean the surrounding around us and not little in public.
To start off the campaign the PM invited actors like Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan too have pledged their support for the #MyCleanIndia campaign.
But considering the fan-following that Shahrukh Khan and Rajnikanth command all over the country and even in the overseas markets, would the campaign have gained further momentum if the top two superstars were also invited?
While not much is known about the relationship that SRK and Modi share, Rajnikanth met the then Prime Ministerial candidate before the elections, indirectly supporting his electoral campaign.

PM has lot of other works to.so dont post articles like why not invited SRK & Saif & John & etc etc.
He just choosed 1 guy from each field.
Sachin sir from sports.
Salman from bollywood.(Aamir is already their).
Kamal sir from South Cinema etc.
All these guys represent their fields here & invitation for them means invitation for their whole field.
So invitation for salman should be accepted by whole bollywood & everybody should came forward to contribute.

He should invite Rajnikant! But he has already invited 9 people who are more imminent personalities. I feel he should also invite the self proclaimed king. But biggest question mark is ‘can the so-called king quit smoking in public?’ And Modi is well aware of what the so-called king actually is. The so-called king is arrogant and doesn’t give a damn to the common people.
In the long run, haider will win over bang bang. Verdict is important, not collections. If collections would have been important , salman would have benn a great actor. @ Indicine, it is prerogative of Prime Minister, whom to invite, whom not to. If SRK or Rajnikant support the cause, they do not need the invitation to do them. Take the example of Aamir Khan, who went extra mile on his own to serve the cause.
Let’s see how big impact these superstars will have… because I saw in a news channel the other day that PM himself took a broom and started cleaning the roads and then when he departed from that area the people also stopped. Cleaning the streets.. it was just to show the PM and support him in front of him..or else the things are pretty same as before

Angry journalists boycott Shah Rukh Khan’s press conference
New Delhi, Friday, October 3, 2014
Journalist staged a walkout from the a press conference attended by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan on Friday in Chennai. The media representatives were angry over being made to wait for almost four hours for the event.
The journalists were asked to assemble at 4 pm at the ITC Grand Chola for the event, which was scheduled to begin at 4.30 pm but the Bollywood superstar arrived only at around 8 pm.
The journalists, as soon as Shah Rukh arrived, starting raising their voice and walked out from the venue despite SRK’s assurance of an exclusive interaction with each of them.
The event was organised for the promotion of SRK’s next film ‘Happy New Year.”’
@indicine.. do u think this topic deserve a place in your website? It is upto a person whom he wants to invite. And as somebody mentioned earlier if a celebrity wants to do something for the society he doesn’t need anyone’s invitation. He can come forward and do it himself/herself.
