The Diwali releases have completed their first week at the box office, with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil emerging as the clear winner both due to lower costs and higher collections (both domestic and overseas).
ADHM has extended the lead to nearly 10 crore. The film has collected 80 crore net in India, the overseas total stands at nearly 50 crore and the worldwide ‘gross’ has crossed the 150 crore mark.
The collections in the second weekend will decide how big a hit ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ goes on to be. The next three days will also be crucial for Shivaay if it has to cross the 100 crore mark at the domestic box office.

I don’t approve of the fact that ADHM will get a ‘Hit’ tag with 100 crore nett only while Shivaay has to climb 130 crore to do so. ADHM has a lot of factors in its favour, the biggest being its chartbuster music and critical acclaim.
If Ra.One could be termed as a ‘Hit’ inspite of a nett collection of 120 crore (significantly lower than its estimated budget of 150 crore), than Shivaay should also be termed the same if it crosses 100 crore.

2-Avag ticket price is more for ADHM
3-Footfall of Shivaay is way higher than ADHM(Most IMP)
4-Shivaay has a one man show
That does not rule out the winner but need to consider this fact.
The Sucess (Domestic & Overseas) of ADHM also clarify certain things that why srk movies scores big in overses market..we cant not over rule the contribution of Kjohar,Yash raj & kajol
