40 days into 2015 and the industry is still in search of its first clean hit at the box office. Last week, yet another keenly awaited film has failed to excite the audience as Amitabh Bachchan’s Shamitabh opened to poor collections on Friday and failed to show enough growth on Sunday.
The film has dropped almost all over on Monday, pretty much sealing its fate at the ticket window. Business in the morning and noon on Monday was down by around 30% from Friday. The film had to sustain at Friday levels on Monday to have any chance of doing well.

Amitabh bachan has lost his acting ability. Dhanush was acting better than him. Amitji had a intense look but was not able to pull it off.

in this film he only plays amitabh bachchan the star.. he refuses to get into the role..in fact his appearance is the worst after rgv s gabbar singh
for a very nonsensical film the name itself of shamitabh was narcisistic..
the music was typically south indian the background score more specifically..
the side actors belong to the south indian cinema genre and the voice of amitabh did not suit dhanush .it would have suited only abhishek bachchan .. but abhishek is far worse in appearance

i do not appease anybody because for me movies are not obsession but just light hearted entertainment..
so my request to everyone please do not be serious and desire films to be hits ..they only benefit few people but drain your pockets of precious money
