The first shooting schedule of Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale began in Mumbai on March 20. Varun Dhawan started shooting for the film on Friday, Kriti Sanon will join the team early next week.
Varun was also the first to tweet about the film, calling it the biggest film of his career “A new journey a new film begins tomorrow the biggest film I’ve ever been part of. #Dilwale”
Kriti Sanon later tweeted “A new film begins tomorrow! A dream project! All the best Varun Dhawan! Will join u soon in another 2 days!! Wooohoooo! Cant wait!! #Dilwale”
Apart from Shahrukh, Varun and Kriti, Dilwale will also feature Kajol in the lead. The rest of the supporting cast comprises of actors like Varun Sharma, Boman Irani, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, Johnny Lever, Chetna Pandey, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma and Mukesh Tiwari.
Shahrukh and Kajol will join the Team Dilwale later, as he is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films’ FAN.

He is not a competition to SRK ,of course he have some masala remake blockbusters ,
but will fade away soon from the picture.
After a 40-50 years nobody will remember his crappy remake masalas….but people will surely find and watch movies like CDI,lagaan,Pk,3I,Ddlj,kkhh,mnik….
Then anyone 1 from those commentors can explain why the films like dabang , partner ,wanted, ready ,kick ,hahk and other films is shown on tv regularly within a month and films like cdi ,lagaan are shown very few days in a year usully on national holidays and where mnik and ra1 , don ,jthj are probably not shown on tv .why?
Film is a film ,no matter it is masala ,the all which need is entertainment .
Even channels show hahk ,hum 7 7 hain ,no entry every sunday but films like ddlj are shown once in a month usually.

How many big names he use to get a single hit ??? Shame on him for using big names and big cast despite being in industry for 24 years. Despite using so many big names he still struggles for Blockbuster verdict whereas Salman openly Remakes movies and make it BB single handedly !!!!!
