The Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards 2015 was held in Mumbai on Tuesday, 21 April. Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan won an award for his film ‘Happy New Year’.
Like always, Shahrukh entertained the crowd, danced to ‘Indiawaale’ with politician Amar Singh, did his iconic ‘arms-raised’ pose and accepted the award for his performance in ‘Happy New Year’.
Excerpts from SRK’s speech on receiving the award
“The love that you have given me over the years, I don’t think I can give it back or do justice to it through my work. Whenever I receive an award, I feel I don’t deserve it. Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation has been an inspiration for filmmakers for years now and will continue to be so.”
“I thank you all on behalf of my family. My wife and children are happy, it’s because of your love. So I thank you all on their behalf.”

just saying a bitter TRUTH—-
I’m comparing the acting performance of 3 big movies of last year—-
amir in pk overacted from 1st to last with out taking rest.just look at his artificial over expressions and raju hirani’s worst direction at it’s peak.but however they managed the bosuccess due to raju’s previous gliry+fake/corrupt boi+double hiked ticket price,pk due to amir is one of the worst movie of last year.of course amir’s worst performance career that many forced to say it was amir’s best performance.so no award is given,thanks to all jury’s saved many Indian’s reputation.
salman in kick!!!!!need I say more this guy born to destroy Bollywood!!!!!OK let me talk about brief—-the plot of the movie is about a crapiest south remake story in bhojpuri style with bhai’s dumbe ki raat hain roadside tapori dance performance.about acting,through out shoot sally tried to act just like he used to do through out his career but couldn’t succeed.I have no words to describe his crapiest work in recent films not only kick.if you will out a gun on my head,and will pull the trigger / will give me 1000cr rs to watch a lallu movie,then also it’ll be very difficult to watch his movie.I didn’t watch kick,just watched 2 minutes and then vomited,Imthen I understood even rgv ki aag also looks classier than this crapiest shit.
KING KHAN in HNY performance—- from starting HE seems very angry ,then through out the film HE played sorrowness/emotional character with some aim to achieve his revenge against st his born enemy —-what a flawless performance!!!!!but the drawback was abhishek,boman,Sonu’s highly overacting performance for which Farah is responsible.Even the top notch performance in which every I Dian’s must have to thrill and will proud for sometime—-WHEN KING KHAN ‘ s SHADOW with TOP CLASS DIALOGUES appears behind the canvas with EPIC TRIRANGA FLAG,It took the film towards a +very level and forced the audience to forget whatever the flaw done in the.movie/story.in HNY,KING KHAN is the the point why you watched it.definitely an award winning performance.
If someone can’t get national award for SWADES due to conspiracy,HE must have got similar awards for HNY,.
If we give mauka to lallu fans,then they will make SWADES/MNIK also a craps and made fun and said it was sworst movie but what suniya says we all knew it very well.
If you can make those movies as classless,then WE can make HNY as Class movie as definitely it’s classy performance irrespective of genre/story.so what’s the problem.to hater an tunhari kyun JAL rahi hai,lol…..ha ha ha ha ha…..

SRK rocks… the LEGEND… SRK will keep winning awards and honours and will make his fans and Bollywood proud… while will Salman will keep doing south craps and insulting bollywood through his bhojpuri movies.. and Aamir will keep doing NANGA scenes and targeting people to show how insecure/jealous person he is…

Please remember that the award is for his whole body of work over the years. SRK is a great actor and his worldwide acceptance and adoration by fans everywhere is sufficient proof of that fact. @IamAKN, the award was for Happy New Year and not the ‘Dadasaheb Phalke’ award that Shashi Kapoor was conferred with. That award hasn’t even been given to Amitabh Bachchan so far.
