Goa, the beautiful city of sun, sand and beaches is set to turn glamorous as the 42nd International Film Festival of India will be held on November 23 extending for a span of ten days.
This grand event will be inaugurated by none other than the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan.The renowned southern superstar Suriya who is known for his commendable contributions in super hit movies like ‘Perazhagan’, ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ and ‘Rakht Charitra’ has been conferred the closing ceremony.
International and Indian celebrities namely eminent French filmmaker Luc Besson and International action super actress Michelle Yeoh, Laurance Kardish, Dan Wolman, Raima Sen, Dino Morea and Prem Chopra will join adding glitz and glamour to the event.
Filmakers from India and other countries will take part in this global cultural fiesta. In brief the event will screen 100 movies from 65 countries and much more.
