After a lot of speculations, entry, exit of various stars the director duo Abbas-Mustan have taken a lot of trouble to accommodate the desired actors in the movie.
Despite the initial hiccups, they have finally started filming for Race 2 last week in Mumbai. As per the initial plan Deepika Padukone was cast opposite Saif Ali Khan. But now it has been decided that she will be cast opposite John while Jacqueline Fernandez will couple up with Saif.
Deepika and John will be seen together for the first time in Rohit Dhawan’s Desi Boyz. Though the movie is set to release next week, their sizzling chemistry has become the talk of the town. The actress has previosly worked with Saif in two movies; Love Aaj Kal and Aarakshan. They will also feature in Homi Adjania’s untitled film. Perhaps this prompted the makers to showcase an interesting first time couple on-screen Saif and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The directors wanted a fresh new pairing in Race 2. It is noted that Anil Kapoor is the only star who recurs in this movie and is paired with Ameesha Patel.
