Two of the industry’s biggest superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan co-hosted the Star Screen Awards, which was held last night. Both their films – Sultan and FAN – didn’t win any awards, but the two actors went all out to entertain the audience.
Sultan, the highest grosser of the year so far, didn’t win a single award at the Star Screen Awards. Shah Rukh too lost out to Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in ‘Pink’, even though he was considered by many to be the front-runner for the top acting honours.
Even Akshay Kumar’s Airlift, one of the most acclaimed films of the year so far, was ignored at the 1st award ceremony of the year. The top awards were shared between Pink and Neerja, two films that were critically acclaimed and commercially successful, but watched and liked only by a small section of the audience.
Star Screen Awards will be telecast in the last week of 2016.

They can star together in a movie inspired by the hollywood movie The Heat starring Al pacino and Robert de Niro. It would be exciting to watch them together in theatre the fans will go nuts.
