There are rumours doing the rounds within the television industry that Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan could replace Salman Khan as the host of India’s most popular television reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.
The 8th season of the show will begin in October this year and Salman has reportedly decided to opt out after hosting four seasons back-to-back.
Sources close to Salman say, the actor wasn’t happy with the criticism that he received for supporting Tanisha Mukherjee and Armaan Kohli on the show. He was also criticised for being too harsh against Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon. He announced on the show itself that he may not return back to host Bigg Boss again.
Rumours of Shahrukh hosting Bigg Boss gained further credibility when the actor was recently spotted at the Colors’ party.
Other names like Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were being discussed, but the channel was quick to put the rumours to rest. However, in Shahrukh’s case, they have remained silent.
Apart from Salman, Bigg Boss has previous been hosted by Arshad Warsi (Season 1), Shilpa Shetty (Season 2), Amitabh Bachchan (Season 3) and Sanjay Dutt (co-host on Season 5).

SRK is way ahead of lallu.He is 2nd most flop giving actor in bollywood….He is the only actor having consecutive disaster films on his name.

@rohan,pity on you.1st tell your lallu to give at least a hit with out south dubbing and YRF.so lallu came from filmy rich back groundand launched by big director like sooraj and through out career he worked with successful directors like sooraj,davi dhawan,anees bazmi and most of his success belongs to them.while SRK came from non filmy middle class family and he made small YRF/DP into biggest industry of bollywood.both SRK and GREAT YASHJI helped each other and made YRF.and now due to that lallu and tingu held their highest collection with this YRF.so tell them to give biggest hit with out YRF.didn’t you know CE belongs to which banner?lol.at least flop stars like akshay also give bb with south dubbings so what so great for lallu.even shahid,akshay couldn’t break record of 10 back to back disasters.yes SRK has 50% flops,so as amir has 65% and salma has 80% flops.lol.

Actually srk was approached when big b opted out to host the show but srk declined the offer as the show is not a good to be watched with family altogether because of it content. so SRK would never accept this show for sure even if he is paid more then salman!

@sss : Dont bark about clashes. Srk waited for Salman confirmation during Eid 2013. Once he got to know no Salman release he pounced n announced Eid release of CE. moreover he cowardly ask Jitu jee to post poned OUATIMD when Ekta was adamant to release. It was because of Jitu ji Srk got a solo release. Srk gave a BB after 4 years thanks to Salman, Deepika, Eid solo release n Rohit Shetty. When was the last time Srk gave Blockbuster without holiday release & big banner?? Last, stop supporting srk while watching Sunny Leon movies !!!! :p
@sss if lallu had suraj and south dubbings than haklu had YRF, DHARMA, BIG B( DON SERIES, K3G), ROHIT SHETTY(CE), 32 BIG STARS including BHAIJAN (OSO), ETC to give block busters. swadesh and chak de with great scripts coulnd’t even be superhits. swadesh was a flop and chak de india was just hit. so get a life. aamir and salman are one man army. they don’t need top actress like deepika, 32 big stars’ cameo, YRF, or Dharma to give blockbusteres. who was the director of ghajini? who was the director of rang de basanti? who was the director of dhoom 3? who was the director of dabangg? who was the director of bodyguard? who was the director of ready? nobody knows. because they were blockbusters because of stardom not directors or cameos of big stars.
