Shahrukh Khan Awards: 1983 – 2013 (Complete list)

(list compiled by Rizwana Shahrukh)

Shahrukh KhanFrom a commoner to one of the most popular men in the world, Shahrukh Khan is one of the biggest success stories in India today. An inspiration to thousands of aspiring actors and strugglers.

His contribution to the Hindi film industry has been immense, and through his truly incredible journey, the superstar has also won several awards, recognitions and accolades. The Padma Shri (India’s fourth highest civilian award), BrandLaureate Legendary Award from the Malaysian government, Lifetime Achievement Award at the Marrakech Film Festival… to fourteen Filmfare awards, Shahrukh Khan’s has won more than 200 awards – probably by most by an actor in India.

An Indicine reader, Vineet, quite obviously a Shahrukh Khan fan, has compiled a list of all the awards that SRK has won right from his school days in Delhi. (Correction – the list was compiled by Rizwana Shahrukh)

  • Yes abhishek..
but not a single person in a million went to watch one & only superstar’s film Marigold?..
    Sallu Fans Trolled…

    SRK’s disaster(according to sallu fans) Ra.one collected above 120 crores…

    THATS THE DIFFERENCE…

  • U salman fans have a bad habbit to not accept the success of any other actors. For u guys, if salman doesn’t get anything , then u simply assume that that particular thing is fake and worthless.
It is similar to a hindi saying :
AGAR ANGOOR NHI MILE , TO ANGOOR KHATTE HAI (grapes are sour).

  • no Oscar award…for him..
srk can’t buy Oscar awards..hahaha, we all knw why?
Only good actor can achieve…not worst or faaltu actor..like as, srk, big b, ranbir..

  • Its a shame that hamming is considered as acting in bollywood.. These awards makes no sense honestly.. This just shows how much chaploosi srk has done throughout his career to win these fake awards.. 198 awards but zero respect

  • There is no any word that enough to describe the best actor in the world, the man with golden heart, the heart of the indian cinema, the one who even his name is bigger than any actor in the world, the one who other actors used his name to be stars, the one who never been before in the whole india,he is the God of bollywoo,he is Shahrukh Khan… Bollywood is nothing without Shahrukh Khan…

  • BREAKING NEWS :

all the cities of country are facing a record breaking cold this year but suddenly the temperature is raising contineously. When our reporters tried to get the reason behind this, they found that indicine has posted a page about awards got by MR. SHAHRUKH KHAN till date.
So, a lot of smoke is produced at the back side of haters and this is the only reason of increase in temperature.
President has announced to honor indicine team as due to their effort, people of india are enjoying the sudden heat in atmosphere.

  • @indicine
Hahahahaha !!! its true indicine but You r selling simply one follower’s article and decreasing ur site’s followers. This is not a big news n deal, that not even shahrukh fans, all the Indian people knew that he got lots of awards in his life time. It’s not mean that m hating shahrukh n his fans or loving any others actors fans but fact is that POST SUCH ARTICLES in ur site that every body can digest weather Salman,ShahRukh,Aki,Ajy,Amir etc. fans.
Some times u post article focusing Salman khan ‘s fans and some times u post about Shah Rukh khan focusing his fans as a result which brings DEBATE and QURREL between ur SITE followers but it fails all ur followers to bring in DISCUSSION AND GET A TRUTh about ur site.

  • @indicine
THAT means Amir khan? And Salman khan? who don’t show interest in any ?AWARDS? are not the legend? of Indian film industry? What do u think? How do u think? This are all questions to ur article.
In my view, shahrukh doesn’t think he is legend because of his lots of awards. Definitely, he is legend in Indian film industry not by getting so many awards but by his hard work n his dedication in his 17-22 years film industry. In a same manner Amir/Salman also spend same ratio of time in the film industry with shahrukh khan they r not legend??????? lastly, All actor r equal- fans/reader of INDICINE.
I completly disagree with articles like this in ur site.

  • No matter what fans say, the common man in India knows that National Film Awards are the pinnacle of recognition and thus cannot be corrupted. So in that sense neither SRK nor Salman has one or are unlikely to ever win one. Truly only good actors like Kamaal, Naseeruddin, Mohanlal, Aamir, Ajay have National Awards in their trophy cabinet so the ultimate reward has to be getting a National Film Award.
That being said though I still think the National Film Awards let themselves down occasionally when they give an award to Saif (Hum Tum), Arjun (Rock On) and Ranbir (Rockstar) when everyone knows that it was media campaigning that brought about such award wins.
This article is pointless and an article should be written about which actors and from which film fraternity have been nominated and actually won a National Film Award in the past 25 years. Then we can compare the kings of bollywood with Indias top actors. Come on Indicine publish an article worth debating and discussing and please stop these nonsensical articles which downgrade the authority and relevance of your site.

  • Well good that someone compiled this list.. Now put one hand on ur heart and tell me how many of the above SRK really deserved.. Well the answer should be in the range of 8 to 10 awards and I am talking about only famous awards. Including filmfare awards most of them are won by good lobbying else no one deserved more awards than Amir khan. Now someone ease compile a list of other nominees of all the awards that SRK has won and u will know what I am talking about.

  • So a certain mr.srk’s fan, ms/mrs rizwana shahrukh (such a great fan that she has added the name shahrukh to her own real name. once again indicine commits the age old, routine, habitual blunder as usual, first crediting mr.vineet and then rectifing the blunder) has undertook a great effort and painstaking research to provide cognizance among all the indicine users about the greatness of srk by the yardstick called as “AWARDS”. Kudos to her and Really appreciate her tedious & sincere work, for the list is too long(lol.. Perhaps one of the longest lists on indicine). So more than 200 awards(not a joke), of which i dont even know how many among them are really of any importance in either their value or stature, except for filling up some numbers, though some awards, especially the international awards (again hats off to mr.srk’s PR personnel’s/personnels for their untiring & relentless efforts) really give some weight. But i have always reiterated that srk deserves only some of these awards but not all of them and so the CREDIBILITY of those undeserving awards will always remain questionable (so mr.srk buying or fixing or lobbying for some awards cannot be ruled out). But honestly i dont think any indian actor has won or can win so many international awards (though the name of some awards sound quite silly & funny) and may be it has more to do with him being globally more famous than any bollywood actor. Like him or hate him, but we cant ignore the truth that he has won(?????) more awards than anyone else but that doesnt necessarily mean that he is the greatest actor and if some really believe that he is indeed the greatest, then they are no more than some blind & unrealistic srk fanatics. The best and the most credible yardstick and measure for a actor’s performance is the NATIONAL AWARD FOR THE BEST ACTOR and who ever has won this coveted award at least once are generally considered as great actors by everyone and by that standard & logic srk, aamir, salman, akki and others dont qualify as GREAT ACTORS; they are all only VERY GOOD ACTORS (relatively). And the day mr.srk wins the national award for his acting, only then can we really accept him as a great actor (ideally he should have won it for swades, chak de or mnik as they were his best performances). For me, he will always remain as a limited, one-dimensional over-actor who is probably THE MOST OVER-RATED,OVER HYPED,OVER CREDITED, OVER ACHIEVING, OVER DESERVING ACTOR EVER IN BOLLYWOOD HISTORY. (No offences meant to ms/mrs rizwana SHAHRUKH and i apologise for any mistake whatsoever)..

  • There are several other honours which SRK has won and these are not even listed here. Frustrated souls like Aamir, Salman, Akshay and their fans can keep claiming awards do not matter, or make excuses that all awards are bought by SRK but truth is that SRK is an achiever like none other. The most honoured Hindi film actor after Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar. Others can keep boycotting awards in depression or keep lusting for an Oscar whereas SRK keeps winning over the world with his charm!

    King remains King only!

  • @DP Lolz after Amitabh One and only there is Salman Khan that’s many news channel has claimed. It is film industry where in 20th century Amitabh is only one superstar who gave 4 or more back to back blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema ,non of other super star were found. Where as, in 21st century there is only one superstar who gave 5 back to back blockbuster movie in the particular industry. No body understand that which is true. Why people don wanna digest the truth, fact and reality before they comments on any things in their life.
Yes, SRK is also a good superstar but non of his movie were blockbuster back to back in the history of his carrier, it is believable that he gave lots of hits moves as well blockbuster too but not in the series like AMITABH and SALMAN..but he may b able to give in future, for that there is BIG question which ll b known by coming days…but if he repeated same language like before that ‘I M KING’ by himself, it is not sure that too. Many film industry people(Actors, writer, directors, producers ) n his fan frustrated due to his pride. No body was saying him the king of Bollywood but by himself told that ‘I M King’ wohh that pride making him down these days.
Lastly, by the truth only two actor in the history, where Amit ji Proved it n salman khan is proving now how far he ll go!! it can b seen …….

  • what does these awards mean?salman haven’t got any yet when a child is born the first name on his lips is i want to become salman who doesn’t know salman he is an achievment himself.
Salman as srk fans say is a fadu actor who makes crap movies n then why does his 2 movies score 20 million overseas isn’t it an achievement pretty better than these fake awards

  • “In our country, awards
    are not genuine” –
    @irrfan_k Khan

We have highly talented actor like Irfan Khan & Nasiruddin Shaha, who are proud of India in hollywood to.
But most sad thing is that they never won a single Filmfare award. This shows the mentalty of our award orgnisers.

We have guys like Aamir Khan whoes several films nominated for Oscar but not cared by Filmfare.

Angle of watching towards these people is different for Indian award organiser or it due to some Financial facts.

Hence some average talented people wons so many awards that site like Indicine posts article on it.

But realy this kind of articles make any impact.

No BO collections like Salman & No high class talent like Aamir or Irfan.
But bag is full with awards.
    Its happen only in India.

  • out of this 192 awards were either bought directly or were manipulated that is srk for you. A thug that has existed since 92 !

  • @DP awards are named after Aamir …Your very own filmfare satrted giving best newcomer/debut award after QSQT before that sensational debut never existed. So Aamir gives direction rests follow. All these articles will not do any gud to CE’s chances at Box office. Because in the end it will be DHoom Machaale Dhoom Machaale dhoom in 2013 or Krissh 3 or any salman movie . Srk should now get a award for being the most hyped actor who gives most fassadi movie every time

  • A delhi boy who came and divided hindi film industry into camps…Yash chopra/Johar camp bcoz he never belonged to this industry he didnt have the ethics..started dancing in award functions so that he gets best actor awards…started saying things like ‘Aamir is a class actor but he can never match me on box office haha’ every award function made fun of other actors…was scared of Hrithik 2 after his huge success of KNPH …this is jealous srk for you.

  • Srk won critics best actor award in 1993 huh oh really hw can he win that Bcoz film fare critics best actor award started from 1998. . Author can u ans it

  • Yesterday read Joginder Tuteja’s article on Irfan Khan where Irfan is talking about Indian awards.

After reading it i feel that,Is our award system realy worst that a talented guy like Irfan Khan lost his trust in them.?

But after reading above list i think Irfan is right & he should look towards in his work instead of looking for awards.
