Shah Rukh Khan took centre stage at the fifth Asian Awards that was held at London’s Grosvenor Hotel on Friday night. The superstar was honoured for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to Cinema’.
On receiving the award, Shahrukh said “I am extremely humbled and honoured to receive this award. I say this very often that my stardom belongs to most South East Asians who reside abroad who have made the Indian Cinema and me known around the world. I congratulate all the winners at the Asian Awards as well.”
“There is so much talent around Asia and so many achievers, whether is was Dr Amar Bose, the Hinduja Brothers or Zayn Malik. I am glad to have been a part of such a wonderful celebration of hard work by people in difference field but similar passion.” he added.

Former ‘One Direction’ star Zayn Malik was also awarded for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to Music’.
Shahrukh’s charisma and personality has created ripples on social media websites like Twitter and Facebook.
Legendary Sri Lankan cricketer, Kumar Sangakarra tweeted “Great night at the Asian Awards. So many stars including Garry Lineker and Shah Rukh Khan. Among all the stars at the Asian awards it was obvious that Shah Rukh Khan was the superstar. Incredible presence and humility.”

@hrithik,when we talked about last decade you said that’s once upon a time and also that highest grossers are also very old as only amir has highest grossers in past 2 year,so itna zyaada uchal mat.so in recent times salman has one flop,one bb,only talk about that.say only about that very recent continuing records,just like actor gave back to back 200cr club 1st,or gave 11HITS in a row and continuing.
Even if you’re talking about those highest grossers,among 3(saajan,ssh,no entry) are due to multiactors,while no entry is a special appearance movie of salman.so don’t be so opportunist.otherwise salman has 5 highest grosser of his own same as KING KHAN.

But sajan is sanju’s movie, Jeet is remember for sunny. Yes Biwi no1 is salman movie despite having Anil saif but HDDCS HSSH no entry partner r multistarrer because other actors had parallel role. If Mhn oso multistarrer then garve (arbaaz) wanted (inder kumar, mahesh, Vinod khanaa) , bodyguard (raj babbar, Aditya pancholi) ready ( Sanjay ajay arbaaz) dabang (Sonu sood) kick (hooda, nawazuddin ) to be called as multistarrer.
