The task of transforming Shah Rukh Khan into Gaurav Chandna (a young man in his early-20s) was a massive task for Red Chillies VFX. The results were astounding as not only did Gaurav look much younger than the 50-year-old superstar, but he also looked shorter and thinner.
Visual effects had to be applied to almost every scene to make the film and the main character look convincing on-screen.
On Saturday, SRK tweeted “The magic of movies & the magicians behind it…” and attached a video titled ‘FAN Showreel’.

Look at Srk he is looking so old so many wrinkles on his face…only makeup and VFX can make him young…I think this is high time for Srk to start doing Grandfather roles…also he cannot pull Box office alone he needs Big Actress and Banner and Director and supporting cast to give big numbers…

Without yrf/dharma/big heroines, he would have been auditioning for MTV roadies/mtv splisvilla/ utv bindaas dadsgiri, etc. He is fan less over actor.
Srk was outstanding as guarav and was excellent as Aryan. This was undoubtedly one of srk best performance.

What were their verdict? None are hits, some are disasters. Why can’t Lallu give hits with them?
SRK strikes amazing chemistry with his costars, what does Lallu do? Spoils the charm of the cast with zero chemistry and zero acting skill.
And don’t cry about big directors. SRK made Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar. THe idea of Yash Chopra working with Lallu itself is laughable. Legendary directors look for great actors, like Yash Chopra did.
@IambollywoodFan-Peekay hain kya? Critics and audience all over said how different were the two characters and you are telling a new story saying both were same except for look!! The VFX team also ACTED as gaurav and aryan, that you want to give whole credit to them? Critics said it was a pathbreaking performance and some even said only SRK could do it. Don’t cry when all the awards next year go to SRK as expected.
Didnt realize many of the scenes in the movie were cgi…grt work red chillies….on of the best that our country can offer
