Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has crossed the 17 million followers mark on popular social media website Twitter. Khan is the 2nd most followed Indian on Twitter, behind the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At the beginning of the year, Aamir Khan came within touching distance of Shah Rukh. The difference in the number of followers between the two was less than 2 lakhs, but the gap has now widened quite considerably both because Aamir isn’t very active on Twitter and the fact that he didn’t have any movie release in 2015.
Shah Rukh has also narrowed the gap between him and Amitabh Bachchan.
Exactly a year ago, Amitabh Bachchan had 12.4 million followers, SRK had 10.6 million, Aamir was at 10.4 million, Salman was at 9.9 million and PM Modi in the 5th position with 9.5 million followers.
A lot has changed in one year and it’ll be interesting to see which Indian will be the first to cross 20 million and 25 million milestones in the coming year.

I always wonder how come Amitabh Bachchan is the most followed celeb on Twitter when most of his tweets fail to get even 1000RTs when random tweets of other celebrities like Srk and Salman manage to garner huge no. of favorites and Retweet

We all know getting random likes on any Facebook page isn’t a big deal.Most Facebook users don’t even know how many useless pages they have liked whereas the case is entirely different when it comes to Twitter where we follow somebody only when we genuinely want to read somebody’s tweet.Most Twitter users prefer to follow lesser people than the number of followers they have:)
Even when his movie isn’t liked by audience + clash + intolerence comment, SRK will still cross 300 cr worldwide and Dilwale already crossed PRDP overseas collection. We srkians are just waiting for a good content movie to make it the highest grosser of all times… Just wait and watch how Fan and Raees will become cult classics and box-office top earners !

Its looking you guys are upset from srk, hence you guys left no chance to bringing the negative side for dilwale in last 1 week.While earlier you were talking positives & positives for dilwale continuously. You should given equal importance to both BM and dilwale with there positive and negative facts before and after the release.No doubt you guys able to garner much traffic by posting only negative aspect about dilwale as many srkians like @the phenom,@aman etc are silent visitors, and srk haters &non fans are more active but was expecting equality for both films.Highly disappointed with these irregularity.
