Controversy doesn’t seem to leave Salman Khan. Whatever he does these days gathers some amount of negative attention. The megastar, who recently turned 50, launched an online portal called KhanMarketOnline.com on the occasion, as a return gift to all the love that he receives from his fans.
But the name of the portal hasn’t gone well with Khan Market traders in Delhi.
So much so that the Association has launched a complaint against the actor and the legalities of the same would be carried out on the 4th of January 2016. The president of the association, Sanjiv Mishra, said that the actor cannot use the name Khan Market as it would confuse the customers that this is the online portal of the Delhi based market.
But since there are various Khan markets throughout the country, the fact that the portal is called KhanMarketOnline.com, will not cause any copyright infringement.
We can do nothing but wait for the legal institutions to take the decision over the matter.
Oh please! it isn’t even a trademarked or registered name!
he should rename it to Bhaijaan market online.
He should use his first name Salman to avoid confusion.. There are too many Khans
