Sameera goes out of her usual disciplined track of all work and no play. She takes a break from her shooting in Delhi to attend the Aerosmith concert in Bangalore.
Sameera Reddy is such a big Aerosmith fan that at the spur of the moment, she left all her commitments in Delhi and caught a Bangalore flight for the concert on June 2.
Sam who is shooting in Delhi is quite disciplined usually, but she chose to differ when it came to Aerosmith. She requested for a day off so that she could attend the concert and then get back to work. Says an excited Sameera, “Yes! Finally, I made it after all the adjustments and ticket hassles. How could I possibly miss it?”
She nearly didn?t make it as she decided on going at the last minute. Arranging for the tickets and packing off to Bangalore was a Herculean task for sure. “I was shooting in Delhi and on a whim I decided to go. The directors were sweet enough to let me go and accommodate my dates at the last minute. It was a task getting my tickets in place, but it all fell in place,” says Sam.
She is quite surprised by her own act. “As an actor I am quite disciplined and it is very unlikely for me to do something like this! I am a huge fan of Aerosmith and so it’s worth it. Moreover, it had become a case of all work and no play for me and there couldn’t be a better break than this. It’s been long since I took off.”
She called up her gang of friends and 18 of them turned up in Bangalore. “I had just 24 hours to myself and I wanted to make the most of it, so I asked all my college friends and other friends to be here with me. We all experienced the music together,” she concludes.
