A day after the Bombay High Court suspended Mumbai sessions court’s five-year sentence in his 2002 hit-and-run case, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will resume shooting for Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in Kashmir today.
Salman will travel to Sonamarg in Kashmir today, where he will be joined by his co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan and the rest of the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ cast and crew.
Salman was asked to surrender his passport and can travel abroad only with the court’s permission.
The final shooting schedule of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is currently in progress. About 10-15 days of shoot is still left. The film releases in theatres during Eid this year.

i did not see the nation bleed in other accident cases.. there are about thousands of accident cases registered in india every year.. i did not see people commenting on them.. where were u then??? now here are they talking about justice and legal system.. remember one thing the high court is bigger than the sessions court n so respect its judgement.. the lower courts are known to give absurd verdicts.. the case is still on.. every citizen has the right to appeal in higher courts, so wat is the fuss all about.. an accident doesnt make him a criminal.. it may happen to anybody.. so dont pounce on somebody’s misery.. it was his destiny n very unfortunate both for the victims n salman.. watever may be the final verdict the fact remains that it was an unfortunate accident n salman n the victims deserve better.. just sending salman to jail wont serve anybody good.. now coming to the legal aspect of the case, the case is very faulty at its nature.. sections like culpable homicide is not a joke.. it requires serious consideration.. the sessions court was very amateurish in its judgement without an inch of doubt.. so i would like to say to all salman fans, salman haters n neutral public the case is very much on! n the prosecution has a daunting task at its hand becoz the high court doesnt run amateurishly.. n already in the bail hearing the high court has made it very clear to the prosecution..

The bail given to Bollywood star Salman Khan has given the impression that VIPs and the rich can avoid jail with “best legal aid”, former police officer Kiran Bedi said on Friday.
The “general impression” after the Bombay High Court suspended Salman‘s sentence in the 2002 hit-and-run case “is if u r a VIP, celebrity, privileged, rich and u can access best legal aid, you can avoid jail”, tweeted Bedi, now a Bharatiya Janata Party leader.
On Wednesday, a lower court in Mumbai sentenced Salman to five years in prison for running over a man sleeping on a pavement in Mumbai. Just hours later, the Bombay High Court gave the actor two-day interim bail.
On Friday, the high court suspended the sentence itself.
