Salman Khan to play Prem and Ratan, double role after 17 years!

After playing a double role in David Dhawan’s  ’Judwaa’, Salman Khan is all set to play to play two different characters in the same film, once again after almost 17 years in Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

If sources are to be believed, Salman will be seen playing twin brothers Prem and Ratan whose characters supposedly will be based on Salman’s real-life dual-sided personality.

“In real life, Salman is two very different people fused into one. There’s the innocent, child-like Salman who is Prem. Then there is the other Salman, with a wicked sense of humour and a quick temper,” said an insider close to the project.

“Very few people see the soft side of Salman. Sooraj has seen that side of him, that part of ‘Being Human’. He is aware that Salman puts up a front as a defence mechanism, and so he wrote the script with Ratan representing the mask that the actor wears,” the source further added.

The shooting of the film is currently under full swing in Kajrat. Also starring Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher and Swara Bhaskar, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is scheduled for a grand Diwali release next year.
