Bollywood megastar Salman Khan is in a different league altogether when it comes to recording the ‘highest single days’ in the industry. 7 out of the Top 10 Highest single days now belong to a Salman Khan starrer, with 4 days of his latest release ‘Sultan’ making it to the Top 10.
The ’30 crore single day’ is a elite club only meant for the biggest superstars in the industry. Films of only 5 actors has managed to collect 30 crore or more on a single day. They are:
- Salman Khan (11 times)
- Shah Rukh Khan (5 times)
- Aamir Khan (5 times)
- Hrithik Roshan (once)
- Ajay Devgn (once)
Interestingly, no other actor, apart from those mentioned above, has even crossed the 25 crore mark on a single day. With Salman films crossing the 30 crore mark 11 times, the actor is just one short of all other actors combined (12).
The next film to watch out for will be Aamir Khan’s Dangal, releasing this Christmas.

4350 screens, all time high ticket price, favourable genre, 80% occupancy still Sultan failed to touch 40cr mark on opening day.
But HNY released on just 3900 screens, much lower ticket price compared to SULTAN with similar kind of occupancy collected huge 45cr on opening day.
