Bollywood megastar Salman Khan is in a different league altogether when it comes to recording the ‘highest single days’ in the industry. 7 out of the Top 10 Highest single days now belong to a Salman Khan starrer, with 4 days of his latest release ‘Sultan’ making it to the Top 10.
The ’30 crore single day’ is a elite club only meant for the biggest superstars in the industry. Films of only 5 actors has managed to collect 30 crore or more on a single day. They are:
- Salman Khan (11 times)
- Shah Rukh Khan (5 times)
- Aamir Khan (5 times)
- Hrithik Roshan (once)
- Ajay Devgn (once)
Interestingly, no other actor, apart from those mentioned above, has even crossed the 25 crore mark on a single day. With Salman films crossing the 30 crore mark 11 times, the actor is just one short of all other actors combined (12).
The next film to watch out for will be Aamir Khan’s Dangal, releasing this Christmas.

Most of the Irfan Khan & Manoj Bajpayee movies have higher IMDb ratings than most of the Salman/SRK movies. Does it mean their movies will be remembered in future not Salman/srk movies??? eid wala star exist in industry bcoz of eid he always play safe just like some time earlier he continiously depend on south remake for succes now for success he books even 4-5year eid period for success and

But coming to Rajini debate yes there’s also a huge section of audience who admire kamal more than Rajini when it comes to cinema.But Rajini sir’s many movies which has broken records have also been liked by audience and critics alike.Even now on Diwali and other special occasions Rajini sirs movie is telecast not because they were blockbusters but were hugely appreciated.
Do check the imdb ratings of baasha padayappa thalapathi you’d realize the longevity of these movies aren’t related to its bo collection.

But such kind of Rajnikanth movies are only a few, almost nothing compared to Kamal hasan movies. Being a Tamilian you know better than me that most of the Rajnikanth movies are made for entertainment (mostly Maas friendly). His movies are all about his charismatic screen presence, unique style, superb dialogues and some over the top action sequences. If I say in so called critics language “his movies offers nothing new”. Maybe some pseudo intellectuals don’t like above mentioned things. But majority of the masses are crazy about him, which matters the most. The same case with Salman too.
