The Rajasthan High Court has acquitted Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
Salman had appealed before the high court challenging the lower court’s verdict that had handed him one and five years’ imprisonment, respectively, in the two separate cases of poaching.
The hearing was completed in these cases in the last week of May and the decision was reserved by the high court.
Khan and seven others were accused of killing a blackbuck and chinkara in two separate incidents while shooting for the film Hum Sath Sath Hain.
One of the animals was killed at Bhawad on the outskirts of Jodhpur on September 26, 1998, and the other at Ghoda Farms on September 28, 1998.

at the end of the day the judiciary runs on facts n evidences.. it does not run on manipulated facts n false evidences.. the lower courts are known to make amateurish judgements.. but the high courts n supreme courts don’t run that way.. why wasn’t salman convicted? bcoz of the simple reason the facts n evidences produced were false n contradictory.. don’t come up with childish arguments like he bought the law.. well if that was the case why didn’t he buy the lower courts.. that would have been much easier right? n who are u to decide sitting at home if the judgement is wrong.. the judiciary knows it job.. it has come to the verdict after going through each n every thing.. respect the law.. false facts n evidences will never stand a chance in high courts n supreme courts.. just by creating a false perception against someone n pronouncing him guilty sitting at home without even knowing the facts doesn’t make anybody guilty.. the verdict is out n accept the fact that salman was innocent.. 18 years of trauma being innocent deserves huge respect n salute.. People who are saying that his money worked, please tell us why he couldn’t use his money in 1999? Millions of cases go unreported cuz people have connections and police take bribes.
