Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider has been passed by the censor board with U/A certificate. The runtime of the film is 2 hours 41 minutes, which is slightly on the longer side as most films in today’s times are under two and a half hours.
Sources say, the Censor Board of Film Certification demanded 7 cuts to pass the film with U/A certificate.

The film is slated for theatrical release on October 2nd, alongside Hrithik Roshan’s Bang Bang.

haider and bang bang are entirely different genre, no doubt that bang bang will get bumper opening as the action scenes are good and it is mostly action entertainer, however, mark my words if haider is as good as vishal bhardwajs omkara or maqbool then in the long run it will emerge winner as it is content that makes people watch the movies after the initial opening. Do not forget singham returns that broke the opening records, however, after first week there was a drastic fall in collections
waiting for haider.
Anybody with any sense of cinema would prefer haider over the copy of knight and day which is bang bang. I can’t believe people want to see the same movie with scene to scene copy with much cheaper special effects and katrina kaif trying to ape cameron diaz. This is stupidity at heights.

I am neither Shahid Fan nor Hr Fan. Not a hater of any of them!!! Let me put some my honest feelings….
Haider- 90-95 Crores (Super Hit)
Bang Bang- 190 Crores- 210 Crores (BB)
HR fans may think I am underestimating Hr’s film because I am a Salman fan and don’t want Bang Bang to cross Kick’s collections. If that’s the case, I should have problems with K3 collections. I accept K3 collections even if it is controversial. I care more about a BO status or verdict of a film rather than its collections.
I will watch both Bang Bang and Haider. But for HNY, I will wait for reviews…

It seems like a good movie..if it has an entertainment quotient, it will earn 90 Crores…Ek villain did more than 100 Crores. And Queen did 60 crore plus. Why can’t Haider do 90 Crores..There is Shradda as well.

Family Drama- Salman (Salman is the best here.)

Romance- Salman (Hr has done only one successful romantic movie, KHPH) (SRK is the best here)
Period Drama- Hrithik (Aamir Khan Better)
Super Hero- Hrithik (I think there is only hrithik that suits in super hero genre in India.)

Hrithik’s Jodha akbar performance was highly acclaimed one while aamir’s mangal pandey did’nt performed well,i don’t know about his performance though as i have’nt seen MP…
Aamir looks like the one missing in most categories but still he is one of the most versatile actor..he does’nt belongs to any specific category coz he likes to experiment,which damn good!!!
