We’ve heard of superstars getting paid exorbitant as acting fee for their films, but it’s director Rohit Shetty who has been signed by producer Sangeeta Ahir for an amount of Rs 25 crore, to remake a Tamil film ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ in Hindi.
The producer confirmed that the fee is the highest sum paid to any director in Bollywood
“Yes, we have paid Rohit an exorbitant price. It’s the highest fee given to any director, but then it works as Rohit Shetty is a huge brand in himself. It’s a comedy film and his forte, so people want to see it. Right now, it is still in the scripting stage. We haven’t approached any actor as yet. I am waiting for Rohit to return from Hyderabad where he’s shooting for Dilwale and then we will finalise everything.”
In the past, Rohit Shetty has directed blockbusters like ‘Golmaal 3’ and ’Chennai Express’. He was also the director behind the super-successful Golmaal and Singham series of films.

prdp will be another blockbuster making it eight out of last nine films of salman.if prdp makes 300, SALMAN WILL MAKE DOMESTIC EARNING OF 2000 CR IN LAST SEVEN YEARS FROM WANTED. Worldwide will be close to 3200cr in last seven years. This is the power of emperor salman with last eight of nine releases going to become blockbusters. Srk ruled 2000-2009 & ruled overseas but could not give an atbb domestic in that period nor 1000cr overseas in his entire career.

If movie to be grand than superstar is needed and which intern cost 25-30 cr minimum
So increase budget hugely only due to starcast so
Entire cost including advertisement would be 150 cr
So movie have yo collect 309 cr net to break even
Impossible without salman khan in movie which also increases bUdget upto 160-165 cr so need 330 cr to break even
Hard even for salman film
So risky project
Why what is the need
There r other talented directors
Which will give good movies

I hope he takes Akshay as he is the one and only number 1 in comedy
