Filmmaker Vishal Mahadkar has signed Rannvijay Singh Singha to play the lead in a horror film titled ‘3am’. The director, who was previously signed to direct the 4th film in the Raaz series says the horror sequel has been put on hold for now.
“We are not making Raaz 4 anymore. It has been put on hold. It was supposed to be the remake of ‘The Omen’ (Hollywood film) and I was really interested in remaking it. We had even got the rights of the film. But later the production house made this decision that this was not the right time to make this film.” he said.
Soon after Raaz 4 was put on hold, Vishal decided to direct another horror film titled ‘3am’.
“Now I have decided to make another horror film titled ‘3am’. It is a horror film and it’s a fresh script and not a remake. We have roped in Rannvijay Singh to play the lead in the film,” he said.
The film is all set go on floors on Thursday (this week) and will be shot across Mumbai.
