To be honest, I wasn’t a Ranbir fan before watching #ADHM. I didn’t even like him as an actor. I mean whatever he did before #ADHM, his contemporaries like Ranveer, Varun etc could do that too. But with #ADHM, the scenario has changed. I was spell bound with his performance in #ADHM. The way he handled emotions was amazing. No young actor can do like that. Ranbir has earned a loyal fan in me.

And it was the first time I cried in theatre when Ranbir sang Channa Mereya and again when he hurt himself with the vase. Outstanding!
Though I am a Salman fan everyone knows but I ll be honest this time, Ranbir is a very good actor but strictly limited to Romcom ones he is not a versatile actor. I will compare him with sahid Kapoor, both are limited to romcom type movies & little bit boring in big screen. It is really tough to tolerate Ranbir in big screen if he is not backed by a good script. No matter what the content is actors like Salman, srk, even amir have the potential to catch u till climax that’s why they are the superstar. Among youngster though I don’t like varun but he has the potential to match these khans but for Ranbir a big no from my side till he has the charm & going to be a part of content rich romcom he will succeed but he is not a guy who can command masses that’s for sure.

No, he really does has not shown much range. Has not done a full on comedy role well, neither action. He has shown that he can really do emotional scenes well, and play the role of the chill dude very well, but he needs to try new roles. Best actors are SRK, Akshay, and Hrithik. These guys have excelled in many different sort of roles.
