Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela has collected around 51-52 crore in its first weekend at the box office. The film was outstanding at multiplexes, single screen business picked up towards the end of the weekend too.
The opening weekend business is the 4th highest for 2013 – after Chennai Express, Krrish 3 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Business through the weekend was around the same level as Deepika Padukone’s first release of 2013 – Race 2.
Ram Leela is almost certain to go past the 100 crore mark. If the film holds up well today (Monday), it could go on to be a much bigger grosser.
2013 has been a terrific year for Deepika, all her releases have been huge grossers. Ranveer Singh’s performance has received tremendous appreciation and he has comeback strongly after two duds in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Lootera. And finally, Sanjay Leela Bhansali too has silenced his critics who wrote him off after two box office failures Saawariya and Guzaarish.

Credit goes mainly to Deepika. Secondly to SLB. Although Ranveer’s Lootera was a commercial failure I think it helped him to show his talents. He was good in it too.
It is 3rd highest weekend box office, out of 5 deepika now has 4 film according to BOI.
But Ranbir kapoor is still a better actor than Ranveer singh.
Chennai Express was more Deepika’s movie than SRK,and srk has also said it…

Only 1-2 cr difference between boi and incidine this time…….and on the other hand also a 2cr difference in k3 3rd weekend collections…..does boi reported all the centers this time???i think actuals should be in the range of 63-65…as boi gives lower figures ……
still Guzaarish was a masterpiece.. but raamleela too is great… with commercial Masala..

So here we can see the difference in collections. This looks real even a 20 crore difference is acceptable but more than 50 crore is not acceptable at all.
By the way Krish 3 has lower weeknd collections than Ram leela as weel. Sad.

Deepika now officially is better crowd puller than hrithik as with samr director she gave him a blockbuster in ram leela but hrithik gave a flopbuster with guzaarish…
If hrithik had done what he did with krrish3 I.e manipulation then guzaarish had collected 150crs in india alone…

Boi.co.in is a far more authentic and reliable site than the now redundant boi.com! They report K3 at 186 cr after 2 weeks and RAMLeela at 46 cr weekend which are a lot more accurate and realistic figures than boi.com….Another site to watch out for is bollywoodtrade.com whose analyst i can vouch for is one the most honest and cleanest trade analysts in the world wide web.
@sweet_heart : Its evident that boi.com is clearly over reporting RL with the clear intention of degrading K3. 2 days ago they claimed K3 to have a 46 cr second week and now they put it at 42.86! She has given secrifice a lot for career…..she hides so much about her that I think if there anything is called secrecy award it should given to her .first full movie I have seen of her was jthj.as people used to say kat is plastic ,I didn’t have seen any of her movie. Jthj I saw because of srk.but i liked Katrina.then I saw ek that tiger,Singh is king just for her.but now, she seems to me overrated. Though I don’t like salman much,but what she did to him was really bad.she used him.
